Green Fields Campground is located on Schweizer Road. 1½ miles east of Chicagoland Speedway. You can see your Campsite from your seat!

Campsite: We offer the largest campsites in the area. Electric sites are 30’ x 50’. Non-generator RV sites are 30’ x 40’. Non-generator tent/ Pop-ups sites are 20’ x 40’ with two sleeping tents maximum. All sites have a 2 vehicle limit. Each extra vehicle is $25/event and if it does not fit on your site may be parked in a designated parking only area. All campsites have wide aisles between rows. Everything you bring must fit within this space to respect your fellow neighbors. There is a maximum number of 8 people per site. If you need extra space request an extra site.

Electricity: Electric is available. 30 Amp service provided. Please request an electric site when registering online or by phone. Electric service is from 5:00 P.M. Wednesday to 11:00 A.M. Sunday.

Shuttle Service: Free Shuttle service will be available to and from the race all day Friday and Saturday. The shuttle buses will run for at least 1 ½ hours after the race. No need to rush out after the race. The buses will also run on Thursday per event schedule.

Check in: Starting as early as Wednesday before the race with departure by 1:00 P.M. Sunday. Monday departures can be accommodated upon request. No charge for Monday departure due to rain delay. At check in, you will receive an information packet on the campground, including emergency and local area information.

Groups: Would you like to be near family or friends? Please indicate when registering. We recommend that you register early to guarantee sites next to each other.

Showers: Permanent shower facilities are located onsite. There will be a small fee of $5.00 per shower. Click here to view pictures of shower facilities.

Food: Pizza King will be delivering pizzas on Friday and Saturday night until 11:00 P.M. They have been in business since 1973 and offer pizza and beef sandwiches from their New Lenox location. A menu will be handed out when you arrive. The owners of Pizza King are huge NASCAR fans and have recently purchased Jeff Gordon's 1995 NASCAR racecar. They also have a large collection of other muscle cars including six Superbirds.  Please support them while in the area.

Each day the local bakery will be going through the campground selling donuts, pastries and bagels.

Ice:  Ice will be available for purchase on site.

Septic Service: Free unlimited septic dumping privileges 24 hours a day. Also there will be a fee based septic service on site for those who prefer this convenience.

Water: Water will be available to fill your tanks from two different locations for free. No waiting in line! Also there will be a fee based water service on site to fill your tanks for those who wish not to move their campers.

Porta-potties with Sinks: Throughout the campground will be porta-potties. Also handicap units will be available. Near each porta-pottie will be hand wash sinks.   All porta-potties are located no farther than 250 feet from your campsite

Garbage Removal: There will be a number of garbage cans located throughout the campground. All garbage cans are located no farther than 250 feet from your campsite. Also we will provide a garbage removal service in the morning. All you do is leave your tied up garbage bags near the front of your site and we will remove them for you. Free garbage bags will be available at the office. By offering this service we will have the cleanest campground in the area.

Race Traffic: The campground is located on Schweizer Rd. Traffic on Schweitzer Road during race day is steady. Of the four main entrances into the speedway, this road has the lightest traffic volume.

Generators: Generators to power an RV are not allowed at Green Fields Campground due to disturbance of neighbors and safety concerns. Small quiet generators to charge cell phones, scanners, and to assist with cooking are permitted only during the following hours of 9:00 A.M till 7:00 P.M.

Newspapers: Free newspapers will be available Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Campground Security: There will be on site security 24 hours a day. Also we will be using a vehicle tag system to control the flow of uninvited guests into the campground area. All campers must register any guests at the front office and get pre-approval. All non-registered guests/vehicles will be stopped at the front office.
